Great Thai. Unfortunately closed due to corona, but good menu, will be back again

Does it taste good? Are you okay? or doesn't taste good? ..that were the comments or that was the communication with the service staff. Now to the actual evaluation: I think here you can enjoy delicious and authentic Thai, tastefully interpreted cuisine in a very nicely designed restaurant. The Asian chef conjured up the starters "laap gkai" and "sate gkai" with two different sauces in the open kitchen, almost noiselessly, whereby my wife liked the peanut sauce particularly well. For the main course we chose the typical "Pad thai gkai" and the green curry "gkeng kiauw wan gkai". Here, too, the chef hit my experienced Thai palate. (Myself, including a trained cook with two years of professional experience in a Thai resort on "Samui"). Why I only rate three stars when I liked the food and the beautifully designed restaurant so much ??? Well, I like to pay for good food, but have you ever been to an Asian or a Thai restaurant with an 'upscale' ambience, do you know the reserved, courteous Thai hospitality, do you know the Siamese smile. You will NOT get this HERE. Regardless of the origin of the service staff, this is not about discrimination, but in my opinion a lot still needs to be trained in service and friendly handling of guests. That's why I can only give three stars here. A shame for the Asian cook *****.

The Suan Thai is a very clean, neat and authentically furnished restaurant. The staff extremely friendly and very competent in the explanations when asked. The food and drinks are highly recommended 😃 You will definitely come back again. 👍👍👍o

The food in this restaurant tasted so incredibly delicious. The prices are quite high, but rightly so. Our waitress, Malwine, particularly enhanced our visit. So talented, so adorable, so great.

The ambiance and service are definitely very remarkable. The food is well presented and reasonably Thai-tasting, taking into account that Germans like to have foreign foods being tamed to their palate. The consistency of the rice, however (it stuck to the bowl and the spoon) is not acceptable. Overall, too over-prices for the quality that you get.

By chance we got lost in it. Sensational is the first thing I can say to this restaurant! The ambience is just great and you are tempted to believe you are in Thailand! The service is upscale and very accommodating! Here you will find fine Thai cuisine! Who likes to be good should stop here!

Very nice suitable ambience, with friendly service. The food is of high quality prepared and is very good in taste. However, there are a few deductions due to the fact that the restaurant is reasonably priced, but not something for everyone.

Great restaurant with very stylish Thai decor. The staff is very polite. The food without exception tastes very good. The food is large and lovingly prepared. A clear recommendation. There are also plenty of spicy food. In the evening there is always a lot going on - reservation recommended. A great restaurant, we like to come back.

An absolute recommendation for this Thai. Incredibly pleasant ambience and delicious food. The prices are a bit higher but definitely appropriate. But be careful it is only open Wednesday through Sunday.
